The search mode that I use is the one of the possible cooperation between contemporary artist and the sociologists with their own writings. In 2009, at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bergamo, I wrote a thesis entitled ”Unexpected meetings, when artists and sociologists talk” , which concludes with the hope of a real and factual link between art and sociology and between artists and sociologists. Contemporary art considers the social contest as the cornerstone of his work and so it finds itself very close to the purpose of the sociologist.

Pierre Bourdieu is an example of this possibility, that was for too long forgotten, especially by the sociology of the italian art, that is mainly interested into the art of the past.  (tr. s.c.)
